This is a Professional Connection & the design & web work is not a product of Kenny Harper Design.
I met Eddie Kyles, the owner of A Lint Free Vent, through a networking event in Jacksonville, Florida. We started to talk about our businesses. I wasn’t too up to speed on what a dryer vent cleaning service really was or why it was important to do, I mean when you take out the vent and grab a wad of lint, aren’t you cleaning it? Well, not really.
Dryer Vent Cleaning Services 101
What Eddie and his crew does is use their professional tools to get into the deeper parts of a dryer and the dryer exhaust vent to thoroughly clean it out. Now why might you need this? Because it can save both time and money.
Have you ever had a drier that started taking a longer to dry clothes after awhile… That’s probably due to a build up of lint. The lint guard does capture a bulk of the lint from a load but still some gets through the guard and little by little it builds up and makes your drier less efficient. You should get this done approximately once a year depending on the amount of loads you dry. When my drier vent was cleaned I noticed that I didn’t need to add more time to the drier to finish drying a large load.
Benefits of getting your dryer vent cleaned:
- You save money on your electric bill
- You save time as your clothes dry faster
- You extend the life of your drier
- You can avoid having a potentially dangerous situation (prevent fires)
